Each coaster is patchworked and double sided and lined in the middle with a stiff fabric which makes the coasters quite substantial, have a great tactile feel and will not scratch furniture! Each coaster is hand batik painted with wax, and then hand dyed by a local craftswoman in Ghana, and then sewn by a local seamstress, Meek in Winneba, Ghana. Every piece comes with a beautiful hang tag, and description the type of textile and where the piece comes from.
